Corus is an international company, providing steel and aluminium products and services to customers worldwide.
With an annual turnover of £9 billion, the company is comprised of four Divisions, Strip Products, Long Products, Distribution & Building Systems and Aluminium, and has a global network of sales offices and service centres.
Formerly known as British Steel, it owned and operated the Ravenscraig steelworks and following its closure in 1992 Corus moved quickly to undertake an extensive clean up programme on the site.
