A new town centre is at the heart of Phase 2 plans to create an exciting new future and unique identity for Ravenscraig. Development activity is scheduled to begin in 2008 with a three year build time.

Offices, shopping, leisure and social amenities, such as a health and sports centre, will be carefully blended into a unique, vibrant character that will form the new Ravenscraig town centre – one designed to reflect the benefits delivered by a traditional town centre.

The town centre will have around 620,000ft² of shopping in a modern, attractive retail centre,as well as a range of leisure, restaurant and community facilities.

The heart of the new Ravenscraig, the town centre will be served by a new railway station, a bus interchange, and have substantial car parking with dual carriageway access from both M8 and M74.
